THE ROSE OF INNISFREE TOURBOAT
Responsive Website design & development
Recently completed this web project for The Rose of Innisfree Tourboat. I managed all the content, design & development. It is a fully responsive website. The brief was to design and develop a new site for the tourism enterprise, a pleasure cruiser operating on Lough Gill, Sligo & Leitrim, Ireland.
The website includes general information such as sailing times & fares, an enquiry form & map. The Unique Selling Point of the business is the scenery and beauty of the area, made famous by the poet W.B.Yeats. To get this across a striking banner gallery on entry is included, with galleries scattered throughout the site. Video integration and a blog are in the pipeline.

NIGAT
Northern Ireland Group for Art Therapy
Website Redesign & Development
I was tasked with a redesign & development of the Northern Ireland group for Art as Therapy website. The organisation came to me with the requirements of producing a new visually appealing and engaging resource for both existing members and to inform & attract potential members.

It needed to have both strong visual impact and provide the ability for the client to update regularly with ease. It was built around the Joomla framework and is a fully responsive solution.

Using their existing branding, I freshened up their identity by tidying up the graphic and introducing a new colour palette. I then designed the new site to tie in with this. Using strong graphic icons for the navigation this appealed to the visually aware users likely to engage with the site.

Whilst providing a resource of information regarding their history, events and summer schools, it also acts as a resource to archive their activity through a gallery and news section. The main imagery was provided by the client and contains works created by the organisation. I utilized these throughout the site as a testament to what they have achieved. It also provides invaluable functions, i.e. registration / payments / donations. We are also looking into the inclusion of a booking system for their new resource the Reading Room.
